RITZVILLE — The Bronco Inn, a Best Western hotel in Ritzville, was recently shortlisted for a Travelers’ Choice Award by online travel agency Tripadvisor.
The Travelers’ Choice Certificate of Excellence is awarded annually to hotels, restaurants and other travel-related businesses that rank in the top 10% of reviews on the Tripadvisor website, according to Bronco Inn General Manager Nichole Thiel.
“This has been a time of unprecedented challenges for hospitality businesses around the world,” Kanika Soni, chief commercial officer of Tripadvisor wrote in a letter to Thiel. “In this context, standing out to your guests and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction is a colossal achievement. Winning a Travellers’ Choice award means you’ve consistently delivered positive experiences over the past year, leading customers to leave you great reviews on Tripadvisor.
According to Tripadvisor documentation, a business must meet certain criteria to receive a Travelers’ Choice Award:
• It must have an overall rating of at least four out of five on Tripadvisor.
• Must pass a minimum number of exams.
• It must have a listing period of at least 12 months on Tripadvisor.
Tripadvisor’s website describes the company as the world’s largest travel advice platform, with more than a billion reviews from more than 8 million businesses.
“We are very proud and our staff are working hard to earn this,” Thiel said.
